Where was the concert?

 

The concert was held at the Orange County Performing Arts Center: Segerstrom Hall.

 

When did the performance take place?

 

The performance was held on Saturday, February 21, 2004 at 8:00 p.m.

 

Who were the performers?

 

The performers of this concert were presented by the Philharmonic Society: Royal Concertgebau Orchestra. The Conductor was Herbert Blomstedt who did an outstanding job of bringing together the orchestra.

 

What music was played?

 

The music that was played at this concert was the following:

• Allegro vivace

 

• Andante cantabile

 

• Menuetto

 

• Molto allegro

Why was the concert given? Who sponsored the performance?

 

The concert was given to the public as a part of the orchestra’s tour. It was in part honoring the legacy of Frieda Belifante. The sponsors to the performance were ING Group, Sara Lee/DE, Nuon and Philips and under the guise of celebrating the 50 Years of the Philharmonic Society of Orange County.
