Use at least three of the essays and two interviews in your synthesis essay

Include minimum two interviews:  Interview your parent(s). If you do not have a parent, choose that person to whom you look to for parental advice such as a grandparent, aunt, uncle.  For additional insight, choose any parent (neighbor, friend, acquaintance), and interview that parent on his or her parenting style. You might also interview a sibling to compare that sibling’s view of his or her parenting with your own to see if that sibling has the same version of childhood and parenting. These are all options.

Include the interview(s) as sources on the works cited page because, of course, you will report using a combination of summary, paraphrase, and/or direct quote.  Of course, you will have intext citations for each person interviewed as intext citations in your essay.  In other words, incorporate the interviews in your paper, hence the extra work and the extra credit. Note that extra points are not automatic. 

 Your textbook Little, Brown Handbook, p.662, has an example of a work cited entry for an interview. The MLA style manual is available on the internet.
